Meet Ohana & See Video!

Ohana Mau Loa have been entertaining Hampton Roads Virginia for the past four years with their inventive shows, authentic costumes, dances, and games.

They have been studying these beautiful cultural dances for many years. Being trained under several kumu hulas (dance teachers) here in Virginia, California, as well as Hawai'i they have truly connected to the spirit and beauty of the islands.

Since they began their group in 2007 they have performed at local festivals, charity events, weddings, corporate functions, and much more. With their annual shows at The Great Wolf Lodge and City Center's Hollydazzle they have developed a reputation for their grand performances and creative choreography.

The name Ohana Mau Loa is hawaiian for "Family forever" and this represents the ladies' bond and spirit as a group. They are all mothers and sisters who are continuing their love for this cultural dance with their children and all of Virginia.
